Kata is mean looking. She has black spiky hair and blue eyes. She is mostly seen wearing rings of some sort, and usually a sneer as well.
Personality[]
Kata is a beat-you-to-a-pulp if I don't like you kind of person. She was trained as a Career from an early age in anticipation of the Hunger Games. As such, she acts mean usually, but if you get to know her she can be surprisingly friendly.
History[]
Anikah and Neal Merrick were rich and well known in District One. They worked sometimes in factories, but were usually rich enough to not have to. Kata was born to them, and raised as an only child. They trained her from a young age to fight in the Hunger Games as a Career. Kata grew up with her older sister, Maelie. But one day, discontent with her plush lifestyle, Maelie tried to leave District One and was shot by the Peacekeepers. This hit Kata very hard, and she became much more 'tough' after that, mainly wounded and very hurt by her sister's death.
